1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Capisso. By creating an account, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a contract on behalf of your business or yourself.

2. Subscriptions and Plans

Capisso offers both Starter and Premium subscription plans. Premium users may be billed monthly based on usage and plan limits. You agree to provide accurate billing information and allow Capisso to charge your selected payment method.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring that all information you submit is accurate.
• Complying with applicable laws and tax regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• Uploading only legitimate business-related expense receipts.

4. Integrations

Capisso allows integration with third-party platforms such as Xero. You grant us permission to act on your behalf to read and write financial data to and from these services.

We are not responsible for any errors, downtime, or loss arising from third-party APIs or services.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software related to Capisso are owned or licensed by Capisso Limited. Users may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

6. Data Processing and AI Use

Capisso processes uploaded receipts using AI services, including models from OpenAI and our custom-hosted AI solutions. While we aim for high accuracy, you agree that automated categorisation is informational and should be reviewed before reliance.

7. Uploads and Data Storage

Uploaded content is stored securely in Amazon S3. Your business data is stored in Supabase. You agree to our use of these platforms for data storage and processing.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if your use causes legal or operational risks.

9. Disclaimer

Capisso provides its service "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that all categorisations will be accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Capisso is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, account issues, or integration failures.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ireland.

12. Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
